Tara Group is a family owned independent company, consisting of four companies involved in the construction of housing. It was originally founded in 1974 by Noel Sweeney and remains in the ownership of the Sweeney Family. With offices in Chasetown, Droitwich and Shrewsbury, we employ over 250 people across our group and work with over 400 sub-contractors.

Since 1995 we have been partnering with landowners to deliver our outstanding residential schemes in highly desirable locations. We work hard to secure planning permissions which both maximise land values and create new high-quality communities for the future.
Noel Sweeney was passionate about the communities in which he lived and worked. That care and consideration for others is one of our founding values. It’s made us the people we are with values we’re proud of.
